Didsbury has roughly 14,000 inhabitants, is situated five miles to the south of the city of Manchester and is ideal for young professionals. Didsbury is split into three sections, West Didsbury and Didsbury village which are predominantly inhabited by young professionals and East Didsbury, which is more family orientated . The main shopping area in Didsbury is Wilmslow Road, where you can find the usual high street stalwarts such as Marks and Spencer and Boots, interspersed by a cobbler, a butcher, a barber shop and an award winning deli. There is easy access to Manchester city centre by train to Manchester Piccadilly (Didsbury has two train stations, East and West), by bus route, especially along Wilmslow Road but also Princess Parkway and Kingsway, or by car via the M60 motorway.
