Tenant Fees

A holding deposit equivalent to one week's rent is payable to conditionally remove the property from the market whilst the application is processed and satisfactory credit checks, employer and previous landlord references and a guarantor who is a UK home owner are obtained. The holding deposit is for the property and is not increased if there is more than one tenant.

If the tenancy proceeds the holding deposit will be deducted from the deposit payable to move in. If the tenancy does not proceed it will be refunded where Wren or the landlord has rejected the application. The holding deposit is not refundable and Wren will retain it if you withdraw or do not provide the required documentation or change your requested move-in date to one which is not acceptable to the landlord.
